		<description><![CDATA[Glad you enjoyed it. Depending on the snow pack, I would suggest mid-to-late summer. Some of the elevations along the Corridor are prone to snow well into July. Check with the Guard station before you go.

Compared to years past, the Magruder is relatively tame these days--with occasional deep ruts off of steep drainage areas and some medium size debris in the road. It used to be barely maintained, but now it is graded and fairly well kept except in a few rough but passable spots. I imagine it could be done fairly easily in a 2wd car, provided you have decent ground clearance. The road up to Burnt Knob is another story. It is VERY rough.
